• The Kent Community Fund is a partner of the town-operated Kent Food Bank through its membership in the Connecticut Food Bank, which is available to nonprofits such as KCF. Each month the Connecticut Food Bank makes one or two deliveries of low-cost and free food to the Kent Food Bank, located in the lower level of the Kent Community House. In 2021, more than 4 tons of food came from the Connecticut Food Bank. Through its contributions, KCF has been able to ensure a steady supply of canned goods, frozen meats and chicken and fresh produce.

  • Contributions to the Kent Food Bank are welcome throughout the year. Especially needed are non-perishable foods, personal care items, paper goods (tissues, paper towels, toilet paper), coffee, laundry detergent, etc.

  • Food Donations can be brought to the first selectman’s office in Town Hall during regular working hours; additional donation locations are available at David IGA and other businesses and churches in Kent.
